We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in banks/financial institutions credit research and excellent understanding of emerging and global financial markets, a minimum post graduate degree from a recognized institution with 3 to 5 years of credit research experience in a similar capacity.
Candidates will be responsible to produce regular and consistent market research pertaining to corporate bond issuers in the respective markets (Eastern Europe, Turkey, Kazakhstan), (Distressed Assets) or (Asset Backed Securities (ABS)) to its clients as well as Company Bloomberg page and website. The research should include daily trading ideas and investment strategies, primarily relative value trades; daily outline and analysis of key news, developments and trends; reports on individual bonds on a bi-weekly basis for new coverage or weekly for updates; as well as sector reports. In addition, to develop Company "house view" to its clients in a timely and comprehensive manner and to complement and facilitate the sales function.
Within the role, to contribute to overall Company market research function, to maintain frequent contact with clients such as to communicate trading ideas and investment strategies, to obtain information on clients investment purpose and communicate the information to the sales person, and to perform any ad-hoc Research assignments.
Successful candidates are expected to come with good command of English with the ability to write fixed income research pieces, meticulous with good analytical ability and prior experience in the Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Kazakhstan will be an advantage for this role. MS Office proficiency, good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential and a team player who is self-driven, independent and keen to learn and develop are the pre-requisites.
